Froodee? Sounds like fruity. Or what about foodee? Is it a name? Is it a person? Is it an animal? Or a place, perhaps?
Or maybe it’s all of them combined!
Froodee is an experiment in community blogging. Long past are the days when the long tail was the talk of the town, and when niche blogging was in. Now we decided to throw that concept out the window and instead introduce a better twist to blogging than just narrowing down on a single niche and trying to earn a few bucks off adsense clickers.
Froodee is a blog all about living–or some of the more important aspects of living that is. You have the essentials: news and money. You have the things that make life a little bit more sane: entertainment, travel and leisure. And you have the things closest to your heart: family (or maybe money?).
All these you get from about half a dozen contributors and writers, each with his /her interests and expertise. But we’re just half of the equation. The community will not be complete without you. Feel free to join in on the conversation. Leave a message. Why not even propose a topic or link to another item we might find interesting? You can also contact us directly if you need to get in touch with us in private.
So enjoy reading Froodee. It’s all about life. It’s all about you!

Austria … Julie Andrews, “The Sound of Music.”
That was before. Now, what comes to mind more easily when one thinks of Austria is Josef Fritzl, the Grandfather of Incest.
This devil of a man raped his own daughter for 24 years beginning when she was just 11 years old, kept her prisoner in a windowless cellar […]
This post is a continuation of my Cliff’s Notes for Who Moved My Cheese, the book by Spencer Johnson, M.D. (also the Author of The One Minute Manager). Hope you enjoy my annotations of the rest of the principles!
Principle # 5:
Move With the Cheese.
(Change.)
As you spot and adapt to change, you should not only prepare […]
This is wise living.
I keep picturing this scene from Music and Lyrics where Hugh Grant (playing an 80’s singer Alex Fletcher) hires Drew Barimore (as Sophie Fisher, who plays as plant caretaker) to water his apartment plants. Obviously, Alex doesn’t care less what time his plants are fed and just keeps it for the “girls” so […]
If you’re wondering why sexual perversions are happening left and right, front and back and every which way in the world today, why we have such a hideous sexual predator as Austria’s Josef Fritzl, one of the clues is staring at you right now.
Well, it’s not Miley Cyrus’ fault. Definitely not. This 15-year Disney megastar […]
Hoi An is like setting foot inside one of those old Chinese movies. The elements are all there. From the low-tiled roofs to the narrow streets, Hoi An is a picture perfect replica of what ancient Vietnam used to be. The small city is located in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. In the 16th […]
Want to go on a shopping splurge without paying even a single cent?
You can try this: Print a copy of the Yahoo news page linked in this blog. Now, go to the mall, shop till you drop, and then go to the cashier. Tell the cashier, “You take my breath away with your beauty.” As […]
Has been quite some time since my last movie out. I’ve always wanted to see The Bucket List too. Is the film really good? There are some Jack Nicholson movies that I skipped because reviews weren’t really great. I’d make The Bucket List an exception BUT hey, if some of you would say it’s not […]
