If you’re shelling out more money for food these days, don’t be too surprised – You’re not the only one whose pockets are bleeding from high food prices.
From Albania to Zimbabwe – and all countries in between in alphabetical order – consumers are complaining about rising food prices.
In the Philippines, for instance, rice has doubled in prices since last January and threatens to triple in the days ahead. The price tag of practically every edible item is skyrocketing – pork, beef, chicken, vegetables, fish.

Still on the subject of size, I read a recent article saying that short people, particularly men, are more prone to jealousy. And jealousy leads to all sorts of problems. Crimes of passion have mostly been committed due to jealousy.
So this “shortness” issue deserves to be in the short list of problems that authorities should tackle since the list of its negative implications to society is not really short.
According to the British weekly New Scientist, a study showed that “the more vertically challenged the man, the greater his feelings of jealousy.”
But the study did not mention horizontally over-endowed ...

At first, I couldn’t understand why my young daughter was so insistent that we watch a cartoon movie that she was literally trying to drag me from my lazy chair to go and see “Horton.”
My daughter doesn’t usually behave that way, and so I got curious why she’s raving mad about this movie.
After watching the film, I found out why: This movie has miraculous powers!
It can remove all the hardness on people’s heart and can make them feel young again and laugh their hearts out at the same time.
