One of the biggest things I’m raving about here in the USA are those tech gas pumps. You know what I’d mean if I say their pretty secure, fast and easy to use. I remember in Asia when I’d pull into a gas station how I’d hand over my credit card to a gas attendant and he in turn would walk yards away from me where he’d swipe my card in a room. That is a security issue by itself, I know!
I do hope there are plans in the works to get these tech pumps installed in Asia all over. Here’s how it works. Before filling up you have to insert your credit card into the slot, wait to get approved by the machine, choose the gas grade you’d like to fill your car with AND fill up. Simple and so convenient for the consumer.
No worries about spills as these pumps are protected via vapor aware technology too. It automatically shuts off when it senses your tank is just about filled up.
