This post is a continuation of my Cliff’s Notes for Who Moved My Cheese, the book by Spencer Johnson, M.D. (also the Author of The One Minute Manager). Hope you enjoy my annotations of the rest of the principles!
Principle # 5:
Move With the Cheese.
(Change.)
As you spot and adapt to change, you should not only prepare for the steps to change, you have to MOVE: walk or run with the change. Be a mover, and not a passive spectator of life.
Principle # 6:
Savor the Adventure and Enjoy the Taste of New Cheese.
(Enjoy change.)
Whether you were forced to change, or you embraced the change, you have no other choice but to embrace and ENJOY the change. If you keep being obstinate about changing, you won’t be able to enjoy the change, and the rest of life. Instead of having an easier life because you embrace joy and the blessings of change, you look at the change as an adversary; something that would only steal whatever enjoyment you could have had for the blessings that the change brought you.
Principle # 7:
They Keep Moving the Cheese.
(Be ready to change quickly and enjoy it again and again!)
Let’s face it, life is in constant flux. The only thing that will help you deal with life with a lighter heart and a better attitude is your own choice to keep a good attitude, no matter what the circumstance. As the Bible guy discovered in his “research” for the book “The Year of Living Biblically,” when he decided to cut the anger and the cussing, he noticed how the positivity fed on itself. To me, that is only empirical evidence that whatever is encouraged will become a permanent habit.
So if your cheese is starting to run away from you, start moving: change your attitudes towards change, and you will be able to embrace your life with greater joy!

The earthquake that hit Haiti is one of the worst in history, and we are all witnesses to the suffering that the people of this country are going through. Even though you and I may be worlds away from Haiti, there are many ways by which we can help. For sure, you have [...]
One of the biggest things I’m raving about here in the USA are those tech gas pumps. You know what I’d mean if I say their pretty secure, fast and easy to use. I remember in Asia when I’d pull into a gas station how I’d hand over my credit card to a gas attendant [...]
Did you know that sales figures show (consistently) that during a bad economic period, more cosmetic products are sold than usual? These figures also show that after a tragedy occurs in an area, sales also increase.
What can we gather from this information? Just as Leonard Lauder said, tough times equate to a higher [...]
The whole Duggar family is no stranger to the limelight. They have been featured on TV, magazines, newspapers and every member of the family is used to the coverage. Last year, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar announced that they were expecting their 19th child. Naturally, they were once again exposed to publicity.

Tired of the same old routine when you travel? Feel like doing something totally different from what you normally do? Then why not check out the world’s weirdest hotels! Either you’ll have the time of your life, or you’ll be wanting to stick to the same old stuff.

We’re right smack in the middle of the Winter Olympics. Have your kids gotten into the spirit of it all yet? It saddens me that today, some kids would rather play sports via the PlayStation (or any other gaming console) than actually go outdoors and kick some butt. With the Winter Olympics [...]
Every house has a first aid kit. That is basic knowledge. But do you have an emergency kit that will help keep you alive just in case you experience a natural disaster? At this point, many families in the Philippines are creating their own disaster emergency kits, if they haven’t got one [...]
