There’s no Goliath here… today was very difficult for the American voters.  And no, it’s not for the elections (Clinton vs. Obama) at all.  It’s an election of a different kind.  An election for a higher calling… higher than the Presidency.  It’s today’s final night for “American Idol”.

I tried to hang on until the final bell and good thing I did.  While I like the two Davids, I must respectfully take Cook’s side.  He’s just more versatile than the younger David, don’t you think?  Well at least I do.  I haven’t seen David A. take on a different style… a different vocal persona.  I wished I did, but I think he just couldn’t be another person.

I did like Cook better because he’s brought into the final night three songs that were different… technically.  Oh I’m sure you could hit YouTube.com to find out.  Nonetheless, I salute both Davids for a job well done.  A record high of text votes like no other American Idol season has produced is enough to prove that Cook…
