In what seems to be a near impossible task, Ramiele Malubay has made top 10 on American Idol season 7. Funny to think that a soy sauce waitress could make it this far but dreams do come true in
America. We’ve been watching AI since the first season and while we feel that season 7 is quite “unexciting”, the entrance of Ramiele to the Top 10 will keep at least South East Asia glued to the television.
Sometimes I just want to wish that Ramiele carefully selects her songs… AND HER WARDROBE. Haha. I am not sure that she should show her prized legs, they are a bit short even for an average Filipina. She should at least get a fashion consultant to highlight her other assets? Say like her eyes, her smile, her ebony Asian hair for instance. Ah yes, shoes… please Ramiele, get shoes that will flatter you… puhleeez.
And while I’m on this Asian swing, may I remind everyone that the infamous Renaldo Lapuz is what made this season “memorable”! C’mon AI guys, when are you bringing Renaldo in??? I’ve watched too many cable channels lately and every AI commercial highlights this “star” to pump up the AI fever the way it’s known for.
Ah, could I dream that Renaldo Lapuz will make a special entrance to sing his song when AI comes down to it’s final 4??? Can I bet my macbook to that??? Any takers??? J
I’m guessing Renaldo will make it big in this season at least. I feel that AI will launch a surprise album even. Ha! I could just imagine ABS-CBN or GMA scrambling for rights to feature him someday. Kapuso or Kapamilya… eh? I’d probably just swing them to ABS-CBN… why??? Don’t ask, I just feel Renaldo is right for ABS-CBN.
Well, at any rate, I really am hoping that Ramiele and Ronaldo makes it big time.
Mabuhay kayo!
I’ve come across an interesting article from Yahoo.com’s Yahoo Green section. With the current escalating trend of the price of oil and gasoline (including their bi-products), the cost of owning a hybrid car is slowly making sense. People before think that gas cars are cheaper than hybrid (gas/electric) cars, and that hybrid will not pay [...]

This is wise living.
I keep picturing this scene from Music and Lyrics where Hugh Grant (playing an 80’s singer Alex Fletcher) hires Drew Barimore (as Sophie Fisher, who plays as plant caretaker) to water his apartment plants. Obviously, Alex doesn’t care less what time his plants are fed and just keeps it for the “girls” so [...]
A cousin recently introduced me to www.surfthechannel.com , and I am loving watching The Office season 4 through it. I just love that show, hilarious! I’ve been watching it on TV but it’s on season 3 replay. I really like to know how Ryan the temp is having his revenge on Michael. Don’t get me [...]
Hoi An is like setting foot inside one of those old Chinese movies. The elements are all there. From the low-tiled roofs to the narrow streets, Hoi An is a picture perfect replica of what ancient Vietnam used to be. The small city is located in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. In the 16th [...]
While summer can be the fun-filled time of the year IT CAN also be a huge debt trap. Every year, Americans splurge on summer expenses like trips, hotels, summer clothing, gears, and gadgets. Oh and all those have-nots that people just “need” to make summer extra perfect.
Every mall will hand out “special deals” to hook [...]
