Online Moneymaking 101 Part 1

Making money online would be easy for a person, if he or she were resourceful enough to seek out the ways you can go about it. I had actually talked about it before, in this ol’ article. But today, I will give an “academic”-style take on the topic of online moneymaking.
In the online economy, there are economic tiers, as there are in the “real world.” Bear with my categorical mind, as I talk about the ways and means this is done.
A List moneymaking options:
- Writing for companies such as ZDNet.com, TechCrunch.com or for About.com, the established companies that control quite a chunk of the online community is pretty hot stuff. In About.com alone, they claim to be able to allow you to generate revenue to the tune of $700 a month. If you break into this tier, you are absolutely fortunate.
- Buying out established domains and websites.
- Setting up a winning online businesses and websites.
Lucrative small-scale moneymaking options:
- Setting up your own websites, or turning your web design “hobby” into a small to mid-scale moneymaking machine, is great for creating one’s “daily bread”. A lot of my friends have broken into abundance through web design and web development.
- Advertising fuels websites, and high-traffic sites are the cash cows of the online community. I noticed that some forums have so many ads, and are actually high-traffic. Sometimes I wonder how much cash they generate.
- I also realized that the big AdSense moneymakers, as according to my friend Kirby, include this website that hosts lyrics and embeddable mp3 codes. The fact that song lyrics and mp3 codes are among the most-searched terms online make this niche very lucrative.
There are still other ways to make money online. You can do it in a smaller scale, or you can join the big-name companies, like About.com or the other big names, if the breaks open up for you. Next week, I will continue with the discussion, which will be all about more manageable and more reachable options for online moneymaking. Hope you watch out for that!
