I’ve seen it go low as $1 for a 2 liter Coke or Pepsi.  Yep, seems like the soda guys aren’t loosening their grip on being a staple drink these days.  Jewel Osco, Walgreens and Target are even adding more discounts on bigger soda purchases.  For a 20 ounce bottle, I got a free Hershey bar at a Speedway gas store.  How’s that for more value for my Washingtons? :)  Cool eh.

Am not really trying to yap my words in but this is a significant trend FOR ALL OF US.  Soda IS addicting and in the long run (while admittedly refreshing) may cause harm to our bodies.  First, the calories, next the caffein and may I add what you feed into your system will grow health monsters like diabetes, hypertension, sore throat… and what else… c’mon now, you know the harm that too much pop can give you.

Some doctors see pop as they see nicotine, it is addicting and doesn’t really put an ounce of health in you.  Would you believe me if I told you there are some who have sought counseling just to get rid of the pop in their lifestyle?

Take care guys… I know it’s becoming cheap, but consider the health hazards of too much pop.
