Do you still remember last year’s incident wherein Britney Spears attacked a car with an umbrella right before she went into rehab?

A bald Britney Spears during last year’s umbrella assault on a car.
Well, she’s finally apologizing for the incident, and blaming her outburst on acting preparation.
Britney’s website contains a message explaining her erratic behavior four months ago. She wound up and smacked a car with her umbrella after an acting audition gone wrong.
“I apologize to the pap for a stunt that was done four months ago regarding an umbrella. I was preparing my character for a roll in a movie where the husband never plays his part so they switch places accidentally.”
While the explanation doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense, at least she’s taking responsibility for her actions. And in the end, the “character development” she was working on didn’t pay off. “I take all my rolls very seriously and got a little carried away. Unfortunately I didn’t get the part,” she says.

Britney’s got a new date — that’s the “Caveman” beside her in car.
And more recently, skipping the Fourth of July party at her parents’ Louisiana home, Britney instead went out on a date. She was spotted leaving the Four Seasons in Hollywood with an unknown man - whom DListed has appropriately dubbed “Britney’s Geico Caveman.”

Went to Barne’s and Noble today to drink a cup of Starbuck’s peppermint chocolate and to read MacWorld. I’ve just browsed through the first few pages when my daughter tugged my shirt to say “Dad, can you help me find Waldo?”. I knew what I was in for and I new I wouldn’t read my [...]
We all remember how good ‘ol mom would always remind us to “brush your teeth before going to bed, dear”, or “use toothpaste for heaven’s sake” or “would you please brush your molars too?”. It was good for mom to do that, if they didn’t I think half the world (or even more) would be [...]
