I just recently decided to go all-natural when it comes to beauty and wellness. I had realized that I really don’t like lotions, but I like using oil before or after taking a bath, and that my face breaks out when I use moisturizer, but flakes up when I don’t. So because of my beauty problems, I thought up this beauty regimen that I hoped would solve these.
Before I take a bath nowadays, I would slather on oil, then scrub my skin. Or else, after scrubbing, I would slather on some oil then just soap and rinse off the excess oil when I find that my skin is too oily. After a couple of days, I noticed that my skin is softer, more even, and even smoother.
As for my face, since it is too sensitive for the usual facial creams, I decided to go back to oatmeal paste. Oatmeal, you see, eases allergies and other itchies. What I would do is that I would put oil and raw oatmeal mixed with a bit of water, then massage it onto my face. After a few massage strokes, I would get my small loofah scrub and then scrub my face with Dove soap, the kind for extra-sensitive skin. After I rinse, I would make another raw oatmeal and water paste, then leave it on my face for around five minutes.
All this while, I am treating my hair with do-it-yourself hot oil cream and two other conditioners: one for damage control, and the other for hair fall control. When the five minutes are up, I rinse both my hair and my face. I come out of the entire process thoroughly refreshed and feeling pampered!
Because of what I do with myself, I realize that I don’t need to go to a spa, after all.
And yes, my hair is more vibrant nowadays, and my skin, which usually breaks out when I have my period, hasn’t had major acne this entire week. So does this mean my regimen works? I sure hope so!
This news is a little sad for me because I am a huge fan of the TV sitcom “The Office”. I’ve been following this show for the past two years and have really admired all the characters. One of my personal favorites was Daryl, the Dunder Mifflin warehouseman whom Michael (the boss) always always try [...]

Move With the Cheese.

What is your carbon footprint? Hmm… ok, let’s start over… What is a carbon footprint?
A carbon footprint is a “measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide“.
Here’s a nifty tool from ivillage.com, an online calculator to measure carbon footprints. I think this is [...]
Well loved queen of pop Madonna has spent 50 revolutions around the sun! That’s an awesome feat for someone who’s energized the world with good music… first-class entertainer. Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie (born August 16, 1958) is from Bay City, Michigan. Moved to New York city for a career in modern dance. After 25 years [...]
I’ve had my fair share of local and international travels. Everytime I “hit the road” I am always brought to “hit the wall” when the time comes to pack. I just couldn’t fit what I need to bring in a small suitcase. Really! My solution? Have the wife do the packing for me. I tell [...]
While summer can be the fun-filled time of the year IT CAN also be a huge debt trap. Every year, Americans splurge on summer expenses like trips, hotels, summer clothing, gears, and gadgets. Oh and all those have-nots that people just “need” to make summer extra perfect.
Every mall will hand out “special deals” to hook [...]
