Well, history books will tell the story when the first African American President steps into the oval office.  Congratulations to President-Elect Barack Obama, the United States’ 44th President.  His online blog takes on a festive theme as he raises his hand in victory and salutation.  One thing I noted was that the right sidebar of his blog has a special button for Hillary supporters, which I think was well placed and ushers the right spirit of country-wide unity after a very divisive electoral process.

Barack Obama is due to set foot in the oval office on November 17 for a meeting with President George Bush.  Aside from being a formal meeting for photo ops and tradition, this meeting will be one to discuss the transitional procedures to take place as the new President steps in.

Boy, I tell you, I’ve just been into Barne’s and Noble last night and, man, the magazines and newspapers are all Obama’s.  I think that too is a record by itself!  The American media are all eyes and ears to serve the latest news about Obama.  Let’s see what happens next!

It is more like a beginning. What does the president-elect have in store for the country? We all know that he is facing a lot of issues and has a lot of fixing to do. What concerns us, in terms of this blog, is his stand on real estate. The government has a lot to do with this sector and it really is in need of serious fixing. [...]
