A new survey has revealed that businesses are losing out on the full benefits of their respective IT projects because of a failure to follow these projects through.

According to research from KPMG, a significant 86 per cent of firms that are carrying out large technology projects usually lose up to a quarter of their expected value because they fail to manage the endeavors through its lifecycle.

The study also discovered that almost half of businesses have actually lost at least one IT project because of neglect.

Company formation and business solutions experts are asking businesses to develop a framework for following projects from end-to-end and then implement the scheme throughout the whole organisation.
