Athletes are not the only people who should look forward to The London Olympics. Even business owners are going to benefit from the world’s biggest sporting event because small and medium-sized businesses will have access to procurement opportunities they never had before.

This was one of the announcements made during the Olympic briefing held at the London Chamber. Marc Stephens, the Executive Director of Olympic Opportunities and International Promotion at the LDA said that they will be working to see how far they can go within the EU procurement framework to give SMEs the best access to contracts.

Company formation and business solutions experts welcome this pronouncement because this will allow SMEs to get business opportunities at a far larger stage.
