Now here’s a book that’s worth the wait.  These issues take half an eternity to come out, but that’s only because Udon works these things into absolutel perfection.  You’d be hard-pressed to find a comic with more gorgeous artwork.  The story-telling is also a real treat, this issue focusing on Gen and his relationship with Akuma.  A very good, moving story, particularly at the end.  Gen fans will love it (I’m still waiting for my Blanka story, Udon!).  The back-up story is better than most, at least in the art-department.  An all-around great issue.  If only Udon could produce more books like this at a steadier pace (I’m still mourning the loss of Darkstalkers).
