Picking up where Tales of the TMNT vol. 2 #5 left off, Leonardo has been blinded by a vengeful Foot Soldier. Don is trying to find a cure, but things look bleak, while Leonardo copes with his condition and reevaluates his place amongst the team.  Do they really need him? This is sort of an “It’s a Wonderful Life†kinda fake-out, though far more violent. It also doesn’t help that a similar “What if†story was done for the TMNT 2003 cartoon. Blind Sight is a 4-issue miniseries, and there’s lots of story-potential, but this particular issue was just Leo having an emo-fest. While watching the TMNT get slaughtered is fun, in a way, it doesn’t really go anywhere.
