Now this series should prove to be everything Infiltration wasn’t. The pacing is already lightning-fast with lots and lots of robot action. The story by Simon Furman focuses on Jetfire with art by Don Figueroa. Apparently, due to their never-ending war, the planet Cybertron has become a death-trap wasteland that not even the Transformers-themselves can live on. While on an investigative mission, Jetfire and the Technobots come face to face with the being that ravaged the planet. The various covers and previews kinda ruined the “surprise†ending of the issue, but never-the-less, it’ll get fans of the old Marvel comic something to chew on. A good read; Stormbringer is shaping-up to be the Transformers comic we’ve all REALLY been waiting for.
