Well, the good news is that there aren’t any of those stupid speech bubble errors that nearly ruined the first issue. The bad news is that it still feels like the story is being terrible rushed. Don Figueroa’s art is as gorgeous as usual but some of the angles seem a bit uninspired. For instance, when Megatron gives his line “Wait…I still function…” it’s seen from a bird’s-eye-view. The line was given much more effectively in the film when you saw it coming directly from Megatron’s cracked and leaking face. This does try and clear up at least *one* mystery among the fandom: who became Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps. Though, honestly, nobody but us super Transformer nerds are gonna give a damn about that. Bob Budianski’s narrative is cheesy yet nostalgic, but his editing dialogue for the sake of editing is really unnecessary. Sometimes it doesn’t even make sense, like where he cuts out Rumble saying “What’d he say his name was?” it makes Galvatron’s line “And my name is Galvatron” seem a bit…awkward. Overall, purdy art, but nothing to get excited over.

Okay, I must say I expected this to happen. There’s a part of me that is happy and a part that’s a little worried. Consumer spending these past months (since October) has been declining. We’ve all seen the Black Friday rush… boy, you wait for the Christmas rush… it’ll be huge. Starting with Christmas decors, people these days are spending a lot of cash on pre-Christmas, Christmas and post-Christmas [...]

We all remember how good ‘ol mom would always remind us to “brush your teeth before going to bed, dear”, or “use toothpaste for heaven’s sake” or “would you please brush your molars too?”. It was good for mom to do that, if they didn’t I think half the world (or even more) would be [...]
