G.I. Joe goes International because America just isn’t cool enough…

According to IGN, G.I. Joe is going international to appeal to a wider audience. When the concept hits the big screen, all of our favorite characters will be there, but they’ll be working for:

…a Brussels-based outfit that stands for Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, an international co-ed force of operatives who use hi-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil organization headed by a double-crossing Scottish arms dealer. The property is closer in tone to X-Men and James Bond than a war film.

I have no idea what to think of that – but here’s hoping it’s a fun, action packed film that doesn’t make all of us want to cry.
