Well, the Harry Potter news is starting to ramp up a bit. The newest news on the newsy street is that Academy Award winner Jim Broadbent will be taking on the role of Potions teacher Horace Slughorn in the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
In his own words, Broadbent gives us a little more to chew on, saying, âWho am I? Heâs called Horace Slughorn. Heâs a retired teacher of magic whoâs drawn back out of retirement because heâs got some secrets they need in the battle against the Death Eaters and heâs quite star struck as a teacher and heâs drawn back into the fold because he likes to notch up celebrity students, and heâs drawn back by Harry.â
The 6th Harry Potter movie began filming just Monday & is slated for a November 2008 release. Who else has chill bumps?
