The USA has been one of the most immigrant-friendly country’s I have known. Granted that they have strict immigration laws, I believe it still is immigrant friendly. I say this because the USA has by far has the largest collection of successful immigration statistics in the world. You couldn’t drive 5 miles from where you are without spotting an immigrant.
Ah, what I do hope is that the US would even make their immigration laws a little “open”. I’ve heard several horror stories of shattered dreams, dislocated families and well, even worse. Is there hope for those who wish to immigrate legally in the new US government under Barack Obama? Hopes are high and my prayers are with those who look to the US as their new home.
While the USA is under the curse of recession, I think, the country needs immigrants all the more. They come here to work, they come here to live… and my take is if they choose to be “illegal aliens”, it is only because they are led by their situations to it.
This is a debate in it’s pure sense as some would contest the premise. I’ll leave it to you to think about and absorb. But honestly, if people want to work, America needs all the help it can get.
