This guy, or gay — British pop star George Michael – deserves a high-five and a kick in the butt at the same time!
In an interview aired Saturday he admitted being addicted to prescription drugs. The singer also said his sex life was good enough to outweigh the bad press received for being caught allegedly “cruising” for gay sex with strangers.
The world would be a better place to live if more people smoked cannabis and drank alcohol, the former Wham lead singer said.
In July 2006, Michael defended “cruising” for gay sex after a high-profile expose allegedly caught him out at a well-known London pick-up spot.
In 1998, he was arrested in California for lewd conduct in a public toilet. This forced him to admit his homosexuality in public.
(Doing “it” in a public toilet? Why not just in the street?)
“Being in the paper, I promise you, is not the bad bit,” he told ITV. “And believe me, I think that the sex I have is worth being in the paper for!”
Michael also defended his use of cannabis. “I’m not going to pretend that my drug of choice is not marijuana, because it is,” he said.
(Ok, ok, we know how you’re enjoying cannabis and sex. But must you spit everything out to all of mankind? Decency in public – ever heard of that?)
