Computertan.com seems to be raking in a lot of hits from Brits desperate to get an awesome tan “the easy way”. They’re claiming to offer internet users a free year-round tan through their computer screens… and it has attracted more than a million hits. Is this crazy or what? 🙂
If you’d like to add to their numbers, do so right here. You’d find a little flash movie telling you about what is about to happen. Your screen get’s “calibrated” and a request to open your webcam is made. The last movie screen would show about 5 tanning lights that flickr to give you a 10-second dose of tanning… and the rest of the session… well, I’ll let you find out for yourself.
The website appears to be an information drive regarding skin cancer in Great Britain. I think it is a genius concept. One million hits in a month is a serious matter!
