British actress Helen Mirren grabbed two Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards at the red carpeted even in Los Angeles Sunday evening.
61-year-old Mirren took home the Best Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries for her role at Queen Elizabeth I in Elizabeth I. Mirren also picked up Best Female Actor in a Movie for playing another queen, Elizatbeth II, in The Queen. It was apparently a royal year for Helen last year!
It was a night for the Brits as Jeremy Irons took home Best Male Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries for his role in Elizabeth I & Hugh Laurie won a SAG as Best Male Actor in a Drama Series award for House.
