The Teacher Factor

August 30, 2012 By Teresa M

The Teacher Factor is usually mentioned in  success stories of people who were initially doomed by others to failure.  Somewhere in the history of these successful people is a teacher who has made an additional step to reach out and pull them out of their predicament often imposed by a judgmental school environment.  While others were quick to set them aside as people with no foreseeable bright future, the teacher saw the potentials and the possibilities.

When a teacher says that we have a good future ahead of us, it is almost impossible not to believe them.  Their words hold such an authority over us that we dare to go beyond our self-imposed limits just to make them proud.  Teaching is the noblest of all professions because it produces all other professions put together.  Having the opportunity of being handled by a good teacher can make a whole lot of difference in a student’s life.
