‘Lone Star’: It’s Dead, Jim

September 29, 2010 By Marie F

The first casualty of the Fall 2010 season is one that no one expected: the critically-acclaimed Fox drama Lone Star. Only two episodes of the show have aired, and five filmed, but production has ended on the show and Fox has no plans to air the remaining eps at this time. The show, about a con man married to two women, did not meet ratings expectations.

According to THR, other shows in danger of early cancellations include ABC’s The Whole Truth and My Generation, and NBC’s Outlaw. The latest iteration of The Apprentice is also showing abysmal ratings this season, indicating that viewers have finally figured out that it outlived its usefulness years ago.
