Hey, Nathaniel Marston—going nuts makes a good story line for daytime TV, but it doesn’t do anything for your career.
The One Life to Live star not only assaulted 3 men with a crate, but kicked police and was caught with illegal possession of a weapon. Psychologists who assessed him after his arrest called him “emotionally disturbed.” His neighbor was less tactful: “Within the last six months he’s gone a little screwy.”
Or just stupid, considering how his last arrest in 1999 (for attacking and damaging an ATM) nearly cost him his career. He was fired from As the World Turns; fans saved his career (he was brought back as another character) but as Britney Spears proves, even they have their limits.
How long a TV life does he have to live?
