Ahhh the Dreadnoks, some of my favorite G.I. Joe villains. As you can guess, the first issue of the miniseries featuring the origin of the Dreadnoks is most heavily focused on their leader, Zartan. It’s a bit hard to follow at times, leaping from one year to another, with “the character that will be Zartan” taking on new identities. Still, I gather that was the point. Zaranna and Zander make small appearances, and I gather they’ll come into play later. Buzzer is the only other Dreadnok to feature rather prominantly in this issue, which is cool, since he’s my favorite of the bunch. Also keep your eyes open for Destro sans-helmet. Overall, it looks to be like another fun Declassified series.
