With Thanksgiving over we’re heading off to more season of spending. Christmas by far is the most expensive season ever. We’ve all seen the Black Friday rush… boy, you wait for the Christmas rush… it’ll be huge. Starting with Christmas decors, people these days are spending a lot of cash on pre-Christmas, Christmas and post-Christmas items. If you want your wallets to survive… or your credit cards to breath between swipes, let me share with you a few items that I personally found helpful.
Tip 1 : make a budget list, and check it twice – AVOID impulse buying… sit down, think it over and actually make a list you will swear by to follow. If you suddenly have an “urge” to get something off-list, make a promise to wait 20 minutes, walk around the mall. See if you forget it or see if you can walk away from it.
Tip 2 : do your research – honestly. There are many ways to save. Stores have pre-Christmas coupons so make sure you get the Sunday papers to hunt for them. If someone is passing out flyers, get them. There may be a great deal in those too.
Tip 3 : shop co-op – shop with someone, you get to cover more ground PLUS you have a buddy to pull you away just in case the temptation is too great.
More tips to come tomorrow… hang in there!

One of the biggest things I’m raving about here in the USA are those tech gas pumps. You know what I’d mean if I say their pretty secure, fast and easy to use. I remember in Asia when I’d pull into a gas station how I’d hand over my credit card to a gas attendant [...]

What can we gather from this information? Just as Leonard Lauder said, tough times equate to a higher [...]
The whole Duggar family is no stranger to the limelight. They have been featured on TV, magazines, newspapers and every member of the family is used to the coverage. Last year, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar announced that they were expecting their 19th child. Naturally, they were once again exposed to publicity.

We’re right smack in the middle of the Winter Olympics. Have your kids gotten into the spirit of it all yet? It saddens me that today, some kids would rather play sports via the PlayStation (or any other gaming console) than actually go outdoors and kick some butt. With the Winter Olympics [...]
