Something about this photo makes me smile! Well before you grin, let me tell you that I’m just happy a garden “gadget” has come along, something that I would really enjoy. Imagine, you’re gardening on a hot sunny day, just about finished nipping those bushes to perfection, you take your shirt off, stand on this garden gadget and viola… shower galore.

As soon as you step onto the white platform, a meter-high fountain of water arises, showering you like a gentle summer rain. Exquisitely refreshing after sports or sunbathing. Nobody will realise that this plastic disc (78cm/2ft6″ in diam.) with its stainless steel framed base is a garden shower.

Works on any even surface – no installation required. Also suitable for children.

Simply connect it to your garden hose using the supplied standard 1⁄2″ adapter. The slip-resistant tread, made of sturdy UV-resistant ABS plastic, and the base are screwed together with springs in between. A load of about 15kg (33 lbs) or more activates a valve to open: Water immediately rushes into the inner channel system to spray out of 16 fine cone shaped jets – height continuously adjustable from 2 to 4 meters (6ft to 13ft). The height can be regulated by adjusting the water flow from your tap.

A filter in the connector protects the channel system against impurities. The exterior is easy to clean with a damp cloth and plastic cleaner if necessary.
