Boston Celtics won the 2008 NBA championship with the final score 131-92 against LA Lakers. Their league performance wasn’t too shabby at all, winning 66 games and bowing down on 16. It’s a terrific run to the finals, blood, sweat and tears all the way.
Three players scored above 20… this is a “team-playing” team. Something above 20 also took place, oh after 20 long years… the NBA has gone green again. We are quick to note that the last NBA championship by the lakers was way back in 1988. OUCH! But nonetheless, it is a wait that’s worth it.
Paul Pierce takes home the MVP award, shaking off a terrible injury in game 1 and moving the team to victory… bruises and all.
