Smiles… it’s all smiles after the long and very cold winter in Central USA. While New York has a few spotty flurries this morning, it’s definitely all hopes for greens and blooms in Central Park.
There’s something in spring that just changes the flavor of life. While the glee of snow is a treat, too much snow is a nightmare.
Here in Chicago, the city is preparing Millennium park for spring activities. These would include open air concerts, kite festivals, a short 5k marathon, the breast cancer awareness million walk and a whole lot other indoor activities. Oh, and did I mention that this is the time of the year that tourist flock Chicago? Oh are we to become a busy city. And yipes… traffic downtown!
For what it’s worth… Spring starts March 21 and ends near or on June 21 for summer. If you love gardening, now’s a good time to hit Lowes or Menards for your seeds and other garden stuff.
