What everyone in the world remembers

September 23, 2008 By Jim

Just a quick passing thought of childhood memories, wonderful memories with 3 friends I used to spend my afternoons with.  Star Apple trees beside grandmas house, I think I climbed them about a thousand times.  Their arms ever so welcoming to my warm embrace.

Tree hugging… ah that’s one thing I remember from my childhood.  I remember how wonderful it is to give out your arms to hug one of God’s own creation.  I do remember the sweet star apples they gave, and how I enjoyed taking one bite after another… really sweet.

You know, I think every human being on earth has hugged a tree.  If you square the thoughts you’d be surprised to specifically identify one tree you’ve enjoyed sitting by, climbing, swinging, or falling from 🙂

And I bet ‘ya that tree is missing your arms, although she’s been kept busy by other playful arms too.

Every human being had a memory with a tree, and I think that’s one of the wonderful things a human is known for.  Don’t you think so?
