This is wise living.
I keep picturing this scene from Music and Lyrics where Hugh Grant (playing an 80's singer Alex Fletcher) hires Drew Barimore (as Sophie Fisher, who plays as plant caretaker) to water his apartment plants. Obviously, Alex doesn't care less what time his plants are fed and just keeps it for the "girls" so to say.
Well, for the Alex Fletcher's out there, here's a terrrific idea to consider. While I myself would take on any Sophie Fisher over this gadget, chances may be too slim to find one... even by accident.

You've worked hard, lived hard, played hard, loved hard & ran the marathon in bright successful colors. By the time you pause and wonder what you have through the years, you'd see an old old buddy needing, IF NOT, wanting your attention. That's your body!
By this time, your body is about to put you ON HOLD. And chances are you may not enjoy the victory of a long life.
Spas tend to be classed in two extreme ways - either cheap and cheerful (and you can think of the eerie hole-in-the-wall outlets in malls or as an ...

Oops, there goes a huge chunk of ice splattering on the shores of Antarctica, the world’s frozen butt.
Don’t worry, don’t worry – the huge ice continent is not about to melt completely to raise sea levels around the world to “Waterworld” heights.
So, you can safely get down from your roof now. And, no, there’s no need to consider living in a “Yellow Submarine” even if you’re a Beatles fan.
On Tuesday, March 25, 2008, British scientists revealed that chunk of Antarctic ice about the size of Scotland suddenly collapsed, putting an even greater portion of glacial ice at risk.

It is not good for man to be overworked.
I had made the mistake of overworking myself for one whole week monthly then be depressed and exhausted for three weeks a month, in the past. Then just right now, after having my mid-work Quiet Time (after finishing my February BlogSearchEngine.com posts), I read from 1 Kings 19:7:
"Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you."
The context is 1 Kings 19:1-18, where Elijah fled from Jezebel’s* wrath. Elijah was given food twice. After he was given food the first time, he ...

Oops, did you give your sweetheart striped carnations this Valentine’s Day? Argh, I hope she didn’t know the message conveyed by that particular flower; otherwise you would be sporting a bump in your head by now. It’s because striped carnations mean “Sorry, I can’t be with you.”
This article should have been written before Feb. 14, but anyway, in case you’re still in the mood to give flowers to your sweetie, you should know that different flowers convey different messages.
Here’s what flower experts say about the meanings of some blooms:
Roses - Love
Orchids - A belle
Iris - My compliments
Daisies - ...

To all the fatties out there: If the curious stares don’t bother you, if you really don’t give a damn about cracking the concrete floor you step on or breaking the bed you sleep on, if finding a satisfying partner is not really much of a problem, if your limited mobility is fine with you, then go ahead, put more of them stuffs into your mouth.
But wait! Here’s the latest medical bulletin from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachussetts.
Researchers said obesity is threatening to outrun smoking as the number one cause of cancer. Being obese ...
Wonderful news from CNN…
South African Oscar Pistorius, a double amputee, just won the right to be eligable to compete at this summer’s Olympic Games in Beijing after sport’s highest court backed his appeal against a ban imposed by athletics authorities.
Judging by the photo above, you’d see nothing but determination… running through his life. He’s been […]

If you’re wondering why sexual perversions are happening left and right, front and back and every which way in the world today, why we have such a hideous sexual predator as Austria’s Josef Fritzl, one of the clues is staring at you right now.
Well, it’s not Miley Cyrus’ fault. Definitely not. This 15-year Disney megastar […]
Hoi An is like setting foot inside one of those old Chinese movies. The elements are all there. From the low-tiled roofs to the narrow streets, Hoi An is a picture perfect replica of what ancient Vietnam used to be. The small city is located in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. In the 16th […]
Want to go on a shopping splurge without paying even a single cent?
You can try this: Print a copy of the Yahoo news page linked in this blog. Now, go to the mall, shop till you drop, and then go to the cashier. Tell the cashier, “You take my breath away with your beauty.” As […]
Has been quite some time since my last movie out. I’ve always wanted to see The Bucket List too. Is the film really good? There are some Jack Nicholson movies that I skipped because reviews weren’t really great. I’d make The Bucket List an exception BUT hey, if some of you would say it’s not […]
